About Me

I am Maddison Hayes, a high school special education teacher who works with students who have different learning requirements to assist their progress in academic studies and personal development. I help students develop three important abilities that are essential to their success in life and education.

I work with students, and I team up with general education teachers and family members, and support staff so we can create effective Individualized Education Programs which meet the unique needs of each student. I believe that all students deserve access to high-quality instruction and a classroom environment where they feel valued and understood.

This blog serves as a platform to present teaching and learning strategies while sharing personal experiences about supporting students who have different learning needs.
